Throughout this course you will develop, practice and consolidate some or all of the skills below with or without support:
-Give examples of what cooking from scratch means and agree what you would like to cook from scratch
-List at least two things to do to keep safe while cooking (hygiene, right utensil, how to cut food with a knife safely, storage, oven gloves, etc)
-Measure the correct amount of ingredients required for your recipe e.g. count, use cups, spoons (teaspoon, tablespoon) etc
-Make at least one healthy dish from scractch
-Start your storyboard or portfolio with photographs of dishes you have completed throughout the course
