Throughout this course you will develop, practice and consolidate some or all of the skills below with or without support:
-Discuss what science is and look at examples of science in everyday life e.g. the universe, weather, plants, animals, human body, baking, transportation, agriculture, engineering, medicine, communications and technology, nutrition and household use
-Use your reading and digital skills to research two of these areas of science in everyday life, discuss and write a list of at least 3 facts you found
-Use your reading and digital skills to investigate experiments that can be completed in class and agree with your classmates which two you will test out this term (e.g. (lava lamp, water cycle, volcano or bath bomb, orange fizz, milk art, home made play dough, mouldy apple/bread)
-Discuss and evaluate your findings with your classmates
-Start to build your portfolio to record the work you have done this term
