Throughout this course you will develop, practice and consolidate some or all of the skills below with or without support:
-Review what science is and discuss some examples of the science you see at home or around you e.g. the universe, weather, plants, animals, human body, baking, transportation, agriculture, engineering, medicine, communications and technology, nutrition and household use
-Use your reading and digital skills to research two further examples of science in everyday life from the examples you considered in term 1 and 2, and discuss and write a list of at least 3 facts you found
-Decide with your classmates which two different experiments you will test out this term (e.g. (lava lamp, water cycle, volcano or bath bomb, orange fizz, milk art, home made play dough, mouldy apple/bread)
-Discuss and evaluate your findings with your classmates
-Complete your portfolio to record the work you have done this term
