Learning for everyday life: Get to know your iPad
The intent of this workshop is to increase your confidence in using your iPad.
With an iPad, you have access to information at your fingertips but using them for the first time can be a little daunting. Designed for complete beginners, this workshop will take you through the main features and controls of your own iPad, change accessibility settings to make it easier for you to use and get to grips with useful apps.

Open What will I learn?

By the end of the course you should be able to:
- Identify the main features of your device
- Use basic controls and gestures to interact with your device
- Identify accessibility settings which can make devices easier to use
- Access and open an app.

Your tutor will monitor your progress through ongoing observations, quizzes and tasks and give you feedback to support you.

You can give your views through your ILP, course evaluation forms, on-line questionnaires and our Compliments, Comments and Complaints forms which can be found in Centre offices. You may also choose to become a course representative for your class, which your tutor will discuss with the class at the start of your course.
