Garden Skills: how to take cuttings and make plants for free
The intent of this course is to increase your knowledge, build on your creative and employability skills and enhance your professional portfolio. A fun and instructive ourse for those wishing to extend on their knowledge of which plants you can take cuttings from at this time of year. You will be shown which mediums to use and the benefits of a variety of techniques, to make plants for free. All materials are supplied.
Please note: All learners are expected to attend 100% of their course and arrive 15 minutes before their class starts.

The intention of this course is that you should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of:-
● Identify which plants are available to propagate this time of year
● Demonstrate correct use of health and safety
• Plan, prepare and propagate a variety of plants to take home and care for

No formal qualifications are necessary, just a keen interest in gardening.

Please note – the course will only go ahead subject to sufficient enrolments. You will be expected to attend every session, please let us know of any planned absences before you start the course.

Please bring along a pen and paper for note taking, a pair of secateurs and gardening gloves if you have them. You will also need to bring your own refreshments. You are advised not to purchase any materials or books until after the first session, as in the event of the class not running, no compensation can be given for expenditure incurred.
