Get Started with Makeup: Day makeup essentials
The intent of this 3- hour workshop is to develop your confidence in applying makeup for everyday wear. Through this course you will discover how to work with the products you already own, as well as finding out about a range of products, tools, their uses as well as gaining practical application tips.

By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Identify a range of products, tools and their purpose
- Apply day makeup to yourself using a range of techniques

Your tutor will assess your progress through verbal assessment, group discussion, observation and evaluation. At the end of the workshop you will complete an evaluation.

Complete beginners welcome, no experience required.
Prosp User 5
You will apply makeup to yourself using the products and tools you have brought with you. Please ensure that you inform us of any allergies or intolerances prior to the session to ensure safety.

This course does not lead directly to employment but gives you the opportunity to improve your wellbeing. If you are interested in a career within the beauty/makeup sector, you can book for an initial assessment for our qualification course.

You may also choose to become a course representative for your class, which your tutor will discuss with the class at the start of your course.

You can apply online, over the telephone, by post or you are welcome to come into a centre to enrol and speak to one of our members of staff.
You will be able to pay by cash, card or cheque (made payable to London Borough of Hillingdon). Please note – the course will only go ahead subject to sufficient enrolments.
