Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People Level 1 Award (Employability E3 + English)
The CACHE Level 1 Award in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children and Young People’s Settings will allow you to do lots of practical activities to help you to learn to care for adults, young people or children. It will also help you to develop your work and life skills. This qualification has been designed for learners who may be new to the care sector or new to the world of work.
The course is split into three components: an introduction to the study of health, Employability skills and the development of your skills and the use of English for academic writing.
All classes are asked to complete the Emotional Health and Wellbeing survey at the beginning and end of their course. This enables us to see whether learning has a positive impact on wellbeing and it also enables us to identify and help people who need support.
Please note: All learners are expected to attend 100% of their course. If you do not attend for 3 consecutive weeks, you may be withdrawn. This will also reduce your chances of joining another course in the future.
