Caring for Children Entry 3 Award ( + occupational studies E3 + English)
This is a qualification course for those who wish to discover more about this type of work and who may have no previous experience of working with children and is suitable for all adults who would like to volunteer or progress towards work in a childcare setting, including nurseries, schools, Children’s Centres and pre-schools. It is also suitable for learners who need to gain literacy qualifications before progressing onto higher level childcare courses. All classes are asked to complete the Emotional Health and Wellbeing survey at the beginning and end of their course. This enables us to see whether learning has a positive impact on wellbeing and it also enables us to identify and help people who need support.
Please note: All learners are expected to attend 100% of their course and to arrive 15 minutes before the start of their class. If you do not attend for 3 consecutive weeks, you may be withdrawn. This will also reduce your chances of joining another course in the future.
